Lord,
as i face the monsters
inside and outside of me
i ask
please grant me more light
to disintegrate their darkness
more love
to disintegrate hate, anger, resentment
more power
to keep my ground and remain
the child you want me to be.
I pray
that gradually these monsters
who block my path towards you
shall become smaller
while I grow bigger into
a giant so gentle there will be no need
to fight my way through
a giant so gentle
all i need to do is step through
and be one with you.
