HOW DO WE KNOW THERE IS GOD?

IT IS WRITTEN:

ROMANS 1:19
For what can be known about God is plain to them,
because God himself has made it plain to them.

ROMANS 1:20
For since the creation of the world God's invisible attributes-
his eternal power and divine nature-
have been understood and observed by what he made,
so that people are without excuse.


LOOK AT CREATION, AND YOU WILL KNOW A PART ABOUT GOD...
HAVE FAITH THAT THERE IS A GOD AS YOU SEARCH FOR HIM...

HEBREWS 11:6

Now without faith it is impossible to please God,
for whoever comes to him must believe that he exists
and that he rewards those who diligently search for him.


BUT THERE ARE OTHERS WHO CLAIM TO KNOW GOD,
BUT THEIR WORKS DENY THAT THEY REALLY KNOW GOD...

TITUS 1:16
They claim to know God,
but they deny him by their actions.
They are detestable, disobedient,
and disqualified to do anything good.

FOR THIS PEOPLE WHO DO NOT BELIEVE IN THE TRUTH
ABOUT GOD, AND TOOK PLEASURE IN UNRIGHTEOUSNESS
WILL BE CONDEMNED, AS IT IS WRITTEN

2 THESSALONIANS 2:12
Then all who have not believed the truth
but have taken pleasure in unrighteousness
will be condemned


WHO IS THE GOD REFERRED IN THE HOLY BIBLE THEN WORTHY OF WORSHIP?

DEUTERONOMY 10:17

for YHWH your God --
He is God of the gods,
and Lord of the lords; God,
the great, the mighty,
and the fearful;
who accepteth not persons,
nor taketh a bribe;

GOD YHWH IS GREAT, AND HOLY- HIS WAY IS HOLY...

PSALM 77:13
Your way, O God, is holy; What god is great like our God?

EXODUS 15:11
"Who is like You among the gods, O LORD?
Who is like You, majestic in holiness,
Awesome in praises, working wonders?

GOD IS RIGHTEOUS...AND HAS DONE GREAT THINGS AND WORKS...

PSALM 71:19
For Your righteousness, O God,
reaches to the heavens,
You who have done great things;
O God, who is like You?

PSALM 86:8
There is no one like You among the gods,
O Lord, Nor are there any works like Yours.

GOD IS A JEALOUS GOD...

DEUTERONOMY 6:15
for the LORD your God in the midst of you is a jealous God;
otherwise the anger of the LORD your God
will be kindled against you,
and He will wipe you off the face of the earth.

GOD IS A CONSUMING FIRE...

DEUTERONOMY 4:24
"For the LORD your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God.

GOD IS FAITHFUL...

DEUTERONOMY 7:9
"Know therefore that the LORD your God,
He is God, the faithful God,
who keeps His covenant
and His lovingkindness to a

who love Him and keep His commandments;

1 CORINTHIANS 1:9
God is faithful, through whom you were called
into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

GOD IS GOD IN HEAVEN ABOVE AND THE EARTH BELOW...
