TO GOD BE THE GLORY FOREVER AND EVER. AMEN.

PRAYER, WORSHIP, PRAISE, AND THANKS TO THE GOD OF GODS, LORD OF LORDS.

MORNING: HELP ARRIVED FROM MINDANAO.

GAVE MONEY FOR THE INDIGENT FAMILIES WE SUPPORT FOR THE FOLLOWING PURPOSES.

1. FOOD, AND WATER EXPENSES FOR 3 FAMILIES

2. SUPPORT FOR SCHOOLING CHILDREN OF INDIGENT FAMILIES

3. MEDICATION EXPENSE FOR THE SICK AMONG THEM.

BOUGHT FOOD FOR THE POOR, ESPECIALLY THE STREET CHILDREN.

DISTRIBUTED FOOD TO THE POOR.

AS THE FOOD IS DISTRIBUTED, I PRAY FOR FORGIVENESS AND BLESSINGS FOR THE PEOPLE WHO HELPED US IN OUR OUTREACH ACTIVITIES.

 THE LORD SAID:

WHATEVER YOU DO TO THE LEAST OF OUR BRETHREN, YOU ARE DOING IT TO ME.

 

 WHEN WE DIE, WE LEAVE EVERYTHING BEHIND IN THIS WORLD.

WHAT WE BRING WITH US ARE THE SPIRITUAL TREASURES OF OUR GOOD WORKS OUT OF THE LOVE WE GIVE TO OTHERS AND TO OUR GOD.

PROVERBS 14:31- He who oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker, but whoever is kind to the needy honors God.

"Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless; maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed. Rescue the weak and needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked." Psalm 82:3-4 

 "He who despises his neighbor sins, but blessed is he who is kind to the needy." Proverbs 14:21 

 

"He who oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker, but whoever is kind to the needy honors God." Proverbs 14:31 

 

 "He who is kind to the poor lends to the LORD, and he will reward him for what he has done."

"If a man shuts his ears to the cry of the poor, he too will cry out and not be answered." Proverbs 21:13

"If you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday." Isaiah 58:10

 "'He defended the cause of the poor and needy, and so all went well. Is that not what it means to know me?" declares the LORD." Jeremiah 22:16 

 

"All they asked was that we should continue to remember the poor, the very thing I was eager to do." Galatians 2:10  

TO THE LATE JOEY VELASCO, PAINTER, AND A HELPER OF THE STREET CHILDREN DIED OF KIDNEY CANCER. MY SINCERE CONDOLENCES TO HIS FAMILY FOR THE LOSS OF THEIR LOVE ONE.

HE HAS LIVED THE REMAINING TIME OF HIS LIFE PAINTING THE LORD JESUS CHRIST AMONGST THE POOR STREET CHILDREN. HE HAS SHARED HIS LIFE TO THE POOR, ESPECIALLY THE STREET CHILDREN, AND HELPED THEM.

HE HAS GIVEN SHELTER TO THE POOR. HE IS A GOOD EXAMPLE OF A PERSON WHO HELPS OTHERS ESPECIALLY TO THE LEAST IN SOCIETY.

HE IS KNOWN AS THE "ICON OF THE STREET CHILDREN"

HIS VISION IS TO IMPROVE THE LIVES OF THE STREET CHILDREN.

HIS REMAINS IS AT FUNERARIA NACIONAL, ARANETA AVENUE, QUEZON CITY.

IN ONE OF HIS INTERVIEWS HE SAID: GOD WILL NOT ASK HIM ON HOW MANY HE HAS PAINTED. RATHER, GOD WILL ASK HIM HOW MUCH LOVE HE HAS GIVEN WHEN HE IS STILL ALIVE.

MAY HIS GOOD EXAMPLE SPREAD AMONG OTHERS, THAT IN THE REMAINING TIME OF OUR LIVES, WE EXPRESS LOVE FOR OTHERS THROUGH OUR DAILY ACTIONS.

Goodbye Joey

It is with deep sadness that we share the news of our dear friend, Joey Velasco’s recent passing. He suffered from a heart attack and seizures a few days ago. Kindly offer prayers for the eternal rest of his soul. May perpetual light shine upon him.

Let us derive comfort from Joey’s own words, and from the words that have inspired him…

 

Everyone knows he's going to die, but nobody seems to be completely and absolutely prepared for it. Nobody lives each day ready to die; life should be lived to the full each day.

       This is why I have nothing but respect and awe for the thoughts of Mahatma Gandhi:

"Each night when I go to sleep, I die. And the next morning, when I wake up, I am reborn."
