MORNING- REMAINED AT HOME IN PRAYER, MEDITATION AND REFLECTION.
LUNCHTIME- WENT OUT TO A NEARBY MALL TO OBTAIN FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FROM A FRIEND. P1,000 WAS SENT BY A FRIEND TO HELP FOR THE MISSIONARY WORKS.
P800 IS GIVEN FOR THE ADOPTED FAMILIES- TO BE DIVIDED AMONG THREE FAMILIES, ACCORDING TO THE NUMBER OF FAMILY MEMBERS
THE REMAINING DONATIONS WAS SPENT FOR FOOD FOR THE POOR.
WHICH ARE ARRANGED IN A PLASTIC BAG FOR EASE OF DISTRIBUTION.
DISTRIBUTED FOOD AMONG THE POOR.
FEEDING THE POOR AND THE HUNGRY IS A WAY OF SERVING GOD THROUGH OUR FELLOWMEN.
IT IS WRITTEN IN DEUTERONOMY 15:11- There will always be poor people in the land.
Therefore I command you to be openhanded toward your brothers and toward the poor and needy in your land.
IT IS WRITTEN IN DEUTERONOMY 15: 7- If there is a poor man among your brothers in any of the towns of the land that the LORD your God is giving you, do not be hardhearted or tightfisted toward your poor brother.
IT IS WRITTEN IN 1 JOHN 3:17- But whoever has the world's goods, and sees his brother in need and closes his heart against him, how does the love of God abide in him?
IT IS WRITTEN IN PROVERBS 14:31- He who oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker, but whoever is kind to the needy honors God.
IT IS WRITTEN IN PROVERBS 28:27- He who gives to the poor will lack nothing, but he who closes his eyes to them receives many curses
IT IS WRITTEN IN PROVERBS 19:17- He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD;
and that which he hath given will he pay him again.
ALMS GIVEN TO THE POOR AND THE NEEDY
WHAT IS THE TWO GREATEST COMMANDMENTS?
IT IS WRITTEN IN LUKE 10:27
He answered: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind'; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'"
THE FULFILLMENT OF THE LOVE OF GOD AND THE LOVE OF NEIGHBOR GOES TOGETHER AND CANNOT BE SEPARATED FROM EACH OTHER:
IT IS WRITTEN IN 1 JOHN 4:20
If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar;
for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen.
THE DEFINITION OF BROTHER DOES NOT ONLY IMPLY A BROTHER BY BLOOD.
IT EXTENDS TO OUR CHRISTIAN BROTHERS, AND FURTHER EXTENDS TO OUR FELLOW HUMAN BEINGS.
AFTER THE MISSIONARY WORKS, WENT HOME.
THANKING THE GOD OF GODS, LORD OF LORDS FOR EVERYTHING.
THANKING OUR FRIEND FOR HELPING US TO CONTINUE THE MISSION WORKS.
MAY GOD BLESS AND PROTECT THOSE WHO HELP AND ASSIST US IN THE MISSION WORKS. BECAUSE OF THE HELP WE HAVE RECEIVED, WE ARE ABLE TO CONTINUE ON WITH THE MISSIONARY WORKS.
I PRAY THAT AS WE HELP OTHERS WHO ARE IN NEED, MAY WE ALSO BE BLESSED TO BE ABLE TO CONTINUE ON WITH OUR MISSION.
THANKING THE GOD OF GODS, LORD OF LORDS FOR THE OPPORTUNITY TO SERVE THE HOLY ONE, THE MIGHTY ONE, THE IMMORTAL ONE THROUGH SERVING OTHERS.
LIFE IS SHORT AND ANYTIME WE MIGHT DIE.
IN DEATH, ALL IS GONE, AND THERE IS NOTHING
WE CAN BRING WITH US IN THE GRAVE.
IT IS BUT IMPORTANT THAT WHILE WE LIVE,
WE PREPARE OURSELVES TO THE AFTERLIFE.
HOW DO WE PREPARE FOR THE AFTERLIFE?
MATTHEW 6:20
But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven,
where moth and rust do not destroy,
and where thieves do not break in and steal.
HOW DO WE STORE UP TREASURES IN HEAVEN?
1 TIMOTHY 6:18
Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share.
TITUS 3:14
Our people must learn to devote themselves to doing what is good,
in order that they may provide for daily necessities and not live unproductive lives.
